Project Background

Hubei Yichang Tan’ai Road. The construction object is located on the left bank of the Yangtze River, right side of the Fanba Expressway, with residential areas nearby.

The Project
The area is a typical karst topography with steep, vegetation-scarce rock walls, and is prone to the threat of hazardous rocks, isolated rocks, and potential rock detachment and collapse due to long-term exposure to the humid and wind-eroded conditions along the river.

The Challenge
The construction mountain body consists of highly decomposed and crumbling rocks. The nearest distance to the residential area is 6m, should have consider less dust pollution and sound pollution in construction.

The Solution
SLP undertook a stabilization project covering a total area of 5,000 square meters. The project utilized the APS series slope stabilization system, including high-strength diamond-shaped main net, double-twisted inner net, anchor ropes, anchor rods, and other key components. This remediation project effectively ensures the safety of surrounding traffic and residents.
