The Tea-Horse Road, known as the ancient tea trade route back to the 7th century AD, is crossing varied landscapes such as mountains, gorges, and rivers. Now the preserved sections have become tourist destinations, recovery and protection works are required on this withering-away relic.

(Target Site)

Narrow passage at foot of the cliff prevents large construction tools entering the site, so most of the constructions require individual operation with light kits on cramped platform poor of installation angel.

The Solution
SLP adapts PPS-200 rockfall mitigation system on the site. The whole project covers area of 450m2, thorough reduction of the compact test requires accurate and supper deep anchor drilling to keep long time stability of the system. Safety in construction is also important in consideration of protection for cultural relics, total area of 1,200m2 elaborative anchored scaffolding is built up to fulfil the project completion with quality and quantity.
